AJA 12G-AM Overview

The 12G-AM is a compact Mini-Converter that embeds and disembeds up to 8 channels of AES audio, supporting 12G-SDI input and output for resolutions up to 4K/UltraHD. Fiber versions are available with single-link fiber connectivity, offering both LC and ST interface options.

AES audio disembedding operates at all times, delivering four AES outputs. For embedding, users can select which channel pairs either pass through the original 12G-SDI audio or embed AES audio from the included breakout cable.

The 12G-AM also features automatic detection and configuration of the incoming video format.
