AJA 12G-AM Overview
The 12G-AM-T 12G-SDI 8-Channel AES Audio Embedder/Disembedder with LC Fiber Tx SFP from AJA is an 8-channel AES audio embedder/disembedder mini-converter with support for 12G-SDI input and output up to DCI/UHD 4K.
This fiber model offers a single-link LC fiber I/O transmitter to transmit video over long distances. AES Audio disembedding is always functional, providing four AES outputs. Audio embedding is user-selectable, on a channel pair basis, to either pass 12G-SDI input audio or embed input AES audio from the breakout cable. The 12G-AM-T automatically detects and configures the input video standard. The supplied XLR breakout cable offers eight channels in and eight channels out over eight XLR connectors.
