AJA 12G-AMA-R Overview

The AJA 12G-AMA-R is a compact audio embedder/disembedder with 12G-SDI input and output, supporting resolutions up to 4K/UltraHD. It includes a Fiber LC single-channel SFP Receiver, designed to receive 4K/UltraHD signals over long distances using single-mode fiber.

It provides 4 channels of balanced analog audio embedding and disembedding. The audio disembedding function is always active, with four analog outputs. For audio embedding, you can choose—per channel pair—whether to pass the existing 12G-SDI audio or embed analog audio from the included breakout cable. Analog audio levels are adjustable.

The converter automatically detects the input video format, and its compact size makes it ideal for tight setups. It can be configured via USB using the free AJA Mini-Config software, or manually using built-in DIP switches.
