AJA 12G-AMA-T Overview

The AJA 12G-AMA-T is a compact analog audio embedder/disembedder featuring 12G-SDI input and output, supporting resolutions up to 4K/UltraHD. It comes equipped with a pre-installed LC single-channel Fiber SFP Transmitter, enabling long-distance 4K/UltraHD signal transmission over single-mode fiber.

This mini-converter provides four channels of balanced analog audio for both embedding and disembedding. Audio disembedding is always active, delivering four analog outputs. For embedding, each channel pair can be independently configured to either pass through the original 12G-SDI audio or embed audio from the breakout cable. Users can also fine-tune analog audio levels.

The device auto-detects incoming video formats, and its compact size is ideal for use in environments with limited space. Configuration is simple through the USB port using AJA’s free Mini-Config software for PC/Mac, or via DIP switches for quick manual setup.
