AJA OG-FiDO-2R-12G Overview

The AJA OpenGear OG-FiDO-2R-12G is a 2-Channel Single Mode LC Fiber to 12G-SDI Receiver, compatible with the openGear platform. This converter allows you to extend 12G-SDI signals over a standard single-mode fiber optic cable, reaching distances of up to 32,808 feet. The two fiber inputs operate independently, accommodating different 12G-SDI rates on each channel.

Designed for use in high-density openGear 2 RU frames, including AJA's OG-X-FR frame, it offers support for HDR (High Dynamic Range) video. The unit features input present and input SMPTE lock LEDs for easy monitoring. It also provides automatic detection and reclocking of signals. Remote Ethernet monitoring can be conveniently performed using Ross DashBoard software, available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. The converter includes the appropriate Fiber SFP and rear I/O card.
