The AJA ROI-SDI openGear Scan Converter

The AJA openGear 3G-SDI to 3G-SDI/HDMI Scan Converter is designed for high-quality scan conversion of 3G-SDI inputs to 3G-SDI and HDMI baseband video. This allows for efficient incorporation of 3G-SDI sources into SDI and HDMI feeds. The converter also provides region of interest (ROI) image scaling, aspect ratio and frame rate conversion, and up, down, and cross conversion. It is compatible with DFR-8321, OG3, and OGX openGear frames and offers various features for versatile video processing.

Region of Interest (ROI):

The ROI feature eliminates unnecessary interface clutter and allows you to extract only the portion of the computer screen you want. It is fully compatible with the free Ross DashBoard application, enabling interactive selection of an ROI from the incoming computer signal. You have complete control over how that region is scaled to the output resolution, ensuring the cleanest picture quality possible. Aspect ratio, image rotation, and frame rate conversion can be adjusted using on-screen controls in the DashBoard software.

Video Wall Workflow:
