The AJA OG-ROI openGear HDMI to 3G-SDI Scan Converter

The AJA OG-ROI is a versatile openGear card designed for high-quality conversion of computer and HDMI output signals to 3G-SDI baseband video. It offers various features, including region of interest (ROI) image scaling, aspect ratio, frame rate conversion, and up, down, and cross conversion. This internal card is compatible with DFR-8321, OG3, and OGX openGear frames.

Region of Interest (ROI):

The OG-ROI supports ROI image scaling and offers interactive selection of an ROI from the incoming computer signal when used with Ross DashBoard. It allows precise control over aspect ratio, image rotation, and frame rate conversion, enhancing flexibility and picture quality.

Video Wall Workflow:

The OG-ROI enables video wall displays by expanding output options and creating synchronized video wall displays. Multiple OG-ROI-HDMI converters can be used to create engaging and visually exciting video wall displays.

Audio Support:

The OG-ROI accepts 2-channel analog audio via two 3-pin terminal block connectors or embedded 8-channel audio from an HDMI input. Audio source and routing can be selected using DashBoard software, allowing computer audio to be embedded within the SDI signal for synchronized routing.

openGear Compatibility:

The openGear standard ensures compatibility with other openGear products from certified partners, offering flexibility in building your video workflow.

Color Range and Reference:

The OG-ROI supports full and SMPTE color ranges and offers reference source options such as free run, card external reference, and openGear frame references. It does not encode HDCP encryption and does not accept HDCP input.
