Combining reliable performance with rugged portability, the 1TB Envoy USB 3.2 Gen 2 Portable NVMe SSD from OWC (Other World Computing) is built to meet the needs of both creative professionals and everyday users. Featuring a 1TB OWC Aura Pro IV PCIe 4.0 SSD, it delivers up to 1000 MB/s speeds. Preformatted in APFS for macOS 10.13 and later as well as iPadOS 13 and above, it can also be reformatted for Windows, Chrome OS, or Linux use. The plug-and-play USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port supports 10 Gb/s speeds and remains compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s) and USB 2.0 (480 Mb/s). You can also connect it to USB-A ports with a USB-C to USB-A adapter (sold separately). Additional features include bus-powered functionality, a durable aluminum case, and a status LED. A 12" USB-C cable is included.
