Expand your desktop or laptop's capabilities with the OWC Thunderbolt Hub. Designed for professionals needing fast data transfers and the ability to manage multiple devices at once, this hub adds three extra Thunderbolt 4 ports and one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port. It supports data speeds up to 40 Gb/s, multiple high-resolution displays, and up to five daisy-chained Thunderbolt devices for maximum flexibility. It’s also fully compatible with Thunderbolt 3, USB Type-C, and USB4 devices, giving you the freedom to use older accessories with ease.
The Thunderbolt Hub is built for both Windows 10 and macOS. While it requires a Thunderbolt 4 port, it also works with Thunderbolt 3 on macOS 11.1 or newer. To support external displays, your computer must include DisplayPort 1.4 capabilities.
Power your devices and charge smartphones or tablets using the hub’s built-in 60-watt power delivery. Whether you’re using USB Type-A or Type-C devices, this hub charges them—even when your system is asleep. You can also daisy-chain up to five Thunderbolt devices for more productivity. A built-in LED shows the hub’s status—power on, sleep mode, or active connection—and can be dimmed or turned off if needed.
Connect a single display up to 8K at 60 Hz, or two 4K monitors at 120 Hz using the Thunderbolt Hub. This is ideal for multitasking, editing, or enjoying ultra-high-definition content. The hub also works with HDMI and DisplayPort adapters for added display options. Your computer must support DisplayPort 1.4 to enable external displays.
Display support may vary depending on your system. Thunderbolt 4 PCs and supported Intel-based Macs can power two displays via Thunderbolt. M1 Macs support only one display over Thunderbolt.
With the optional OWC ClingOn, you can secure your cables to protect ports from wear or accidental pulls. A built-in Kensington Nano slot allows you to physically lock the hub and prevent theft. For safe disconnection, the OWC Dock Ejector software ensures that all data is saved before unplugging, reducing the risk of data loss.
